Muara Angke Pier Arrangement Must Immediately Be Realized

Jakarta Provincial Government is asked to realize Muara Angke Pier integrated arrangement program immediately.

"We asked executives to do it immediately. The actual work must be done," said Syarifuddin, Jakarta City Council Commission B member, Tuesday (1/17).

According to Syarifuddin, Executive and Legislative must cooperate each other to realize pier's arrangement. Especially in creating regional regulation draft (raperda) of that management area.

"We must walk together. We asked provincial government to give proposal to legislative immediately because Muara Angke Pier arrangement's review is ready," he added.

He assessed that Muara Angke Pier arrangement is urgent because of dam's condition is prone to broken.

"Assets and some development in pier will be a waste if being left like that," he expressed.

Syarifuddin admitted that until now he doesn't know about Muara Angke Pier arrangement mapping which have 64 hectares wide in detail.

"We still don't know how wide exactly that each sub-dept. manages in pier. It's better to be planned from days ago," he closed.
